Randy's Double Irish Chain

About 15 years ago I learned how to make the double irish chain pattern. I loved it so much I decided to make the twin size quilts with the same design (different color schemes), for each of my three oldest children. This is the one I made for Randy...it only took me 15 years to complete it. In the process I lost one of the squares so I purchased some red material that would match and made each of the corners red. I backed it with navy blue minky....love, love, love minky! And of course, I used warm-n-natural batting. Once again, Stacy quilted it for me and Wendi bound it for me. It's a nice cozy quilt with some weight to it. Wonderful for winter nights.
