Sophie's Quilt

So, Charlene wanted something similar to Lena's baby quilt. She had what I thought was an odd preference of colors, however, when it was all put together it turned out to be a very beautiful quilt. The blocks are just laid out randomly - a very difficult thing to do for Charlene and me! Each block is surrounded by a black and pink striped material with a black square in each corner. The inner border is the same as one of the cream colored squares. The second border is the same material as the black corner squares. Then it was bound with the black/pink striped material. The backing is the same as one of  the pink materials in the quilt...it really tied it all together very nicely.

Once again, I had Stacy do the quilting. She did a beautiful design and it just made the quilt look so perfect! Wendi bound it for me to make a stunning finished product!
